First, we had the privilege of meeting Meher Salman of the Spice Shelf, a family-run West Sussex based company which produces an exquisite range of hand-made, multi-award winning chutneys. Meher liked our concept and what we have done so far, gave us a lot of very useful advice and encouragement and kindly agreed to continue doing so as we progress. Second, we will be debuting a new product at Palmers Green Farmers Market this Sunday- our new African Coconut Chilli. Made with real coconut, red chilli and a blend of various spices, it complements our existing Chillinut and Peppernut Sauces and is particularly great with fish and cheese- we’ll be posting more details soon. We also hope our customers who can not eat nuts but can eat coconut will enjoy this. Third, we’ve been working on new designs for our labels so look out for these.
